Before troubleshooting
For installations involving an inverter and smart meter:
- MIN 7000 -10000 TL-X (Single Phase Inverter) ONLY
- Cable CT
Prior to troubleshooting Warn code 304, please verify the following:
- Confirm that the wiring between the smart meter and inverter is accurately connected.
- Ensure the correct pin configuration on the smart meter.
- Check the plug and pins used on the inverter.
- Examine the connection integrity between the inverter and smart meter.
Root
Root: This warn code has been removed after the DSP firmware version AMAA04xx.
Possible reasons of causing the fault
- Wiring issue: The wiring between inverter and the Cable CT is incorrect.
- Plug issue: There might be a damage on the SYS COM port.
- CT issue: The Cable CT is faulty.
- CT issue: The CT clamp is clamped on the wrong cable in switchboard.
Solutions
Only MIN 7000 -10000 TL-X (Single Phase Inverter) can use Cable CT to do the export limit.
- Disconnect the data plug from the SYS COM port on the inverter, then carefully open the cover of the data plug, ensuring not to damage the cables.
- Check to see if the SYS COM port is damaged or broken.
- Check if the data plug, identified by the side with pins, is broken or damaged.
- Update the inverter DSP firmware to AMAA04xx or the above version.
- Check the wiring between inverter and cable CT, better ask for the picture of the connection.
- Advice using smart meter instead of the Cable CT.
